Shoots & Ladders I

Danni and I were introduced by mutual friend and model Nyx Valentine, and we had been talking about shooting together for quite some time.

We finally met in person at the January 2010 D. M. Gremlin Studios Open House event, where Danni, along with fellow acrobats Elizabeth and Anne, wowed guests with an evening of aerial demonstrations.

Danni and Elizabeth returned to the studio for what I hope will be just the first in two different ongoing series: First, an ongoing collaboration with these talented performers themselves. And second, an exploration of this large industrial ladder as an interactive shooting prop, where each model will pose with, on, and around the ladder as led by his or her own personality and style.
