Angie contacted me to shoot together while she was in town for a short visit from her hometown in Ohio. While we shot some beautiful classic nudes together, our shoot was also for the purpose of beginning a new project that I plan to explore as a long-term series.

This series will focus on figure nudes, abstracts, and bodyscapes with models who have stretch marks on various areas of their bodies. The images will focus on the beauty and character in these skin textures, rather than presenting them as body flaws to be hidden or corrected.

Angie is mother to a beautiful son, 2 years old at the time of this shoot. She has minor stretch marks on her breasts and lower abdomen, as well as a scar from her C-Section delivery.

All models who participate in this project do so in full knowledge of the nature of the project, with specific interest and desire to be a part of this series and to have these characteristics of their bodies photographed and featured.
