A handful of abstract and experimental photos shot at the venue amidst the events of the Crash Fashion show.

The sculpted outer wall of the front of the building, with backlit glass insets.

This area is minimally lit with a couple of small floodlights, and the colored lights behind the glass.

To the eye, it appears a uniform grey-brown concrete color.
Adding a camera flash, much more color becomes visible.

I have no idea if the artist intended this effect or not, but fully lit like this, the piece resembles a contour map or aerial view of coastal terrain.

Traffic was clear and I arrived early at the venue. I played with a few experimental long exposure shots in the time before the rest of the shooting crew arrived for setup.

This is a view of the main studio room and the "Engine" crane and screen, shot from the 2nd floor overlook.
