This spider built its web behind one of the brick columns outside the front of the studio just a few days before Halloween.

This spider took up residence and built a perfect web on the outside of the building here at the
studio - just in time for Halloween!

I wasn't even sure if it was alive or not until a little moth flitted by. As I watched through
my viewfinder, having been framing a shot, the spider suddenly darted a couple of inches to
the left straight out along the web. Then, having failed to reach the potential prey, it moved
right back into the center of the web at a slightly more leisurely pace.

I'm very much hoping, since the web is back off the street and behind the studio's front gate,
