Commercial photo shoot for the 2010 "Cannabis Goddess" calendar, a publication of Compassionate Farm Project.

"The Compassionate Farm Project is a cooperative of activists and artists creating topical art products to raise awareness and funds to protect the rights of medical marijuana patients and collectives."

This was a full production shoot project spanning two 14-hour shooting days with ten bodypainted models, sets ranging from down in the dirt to suspended in the air, and images produced for the calendar project, a future art book, and the portfolios of each model.

The images in various ways all embody the theme, as described by CFP founder Madelyn Doe Rothstein, of "woman as the living plant."
