Ashes

Funeral, Oak Hill Memorial Park, August 17, 2007.

This is Gremlin's urn with his ashes. You can't tell in the photo, but it's kind of blue filigree over silver. With white birds.
You can see part of one of the birds right where the urn disappears into the cask.

We put flowers and a couple of mementos into the cask before it was sealed. I didn't know we would be doing this.
I had the amethyst crystal I'd been wearing for a couple months, and the lens cap to the lens he gave me with my
camera on my birthday in '06. I put both those things in there with him, for what those things are worth, more to the
living than the dead, I think.
