A play with shadow casting elements. The goal of this shoot was to use a diamond-patterned metal gate to wrap hard shadow lines on the model's body.

There were two challenges that I gave myself in lighting and composing the images:
1. I wanted to be able to compose without making the shadow casting item visible in the frame, and yet still have it casting distinct shadow lines.
2. I did not want the light shining through the shadow casting element to be the only light source, but still wanted to be able to craft my favorite kinds of highlights and shadows on the body around the cast shadow lines.

This was an enjoyable challenge with productive results, something I will be returning to in concept.
