Shy Yogi

A model who is a yoga instructor brings life to a simple and elegant "still life" image as envisioned by Lisa. This image is an exercise in forced perspective. Lisa's painted orchid is about 9 feet tall, to fit in scale with an adult human portraying the Shy Yogi figure.

The Shy Yogi makes his appearance in both Buddhist and Hindu spiritualism. In at least one version of the story, a figure of the Shy Yogi can be hung in the home to take on the grief found there.
