These Velvia slides are very difficult to scan. It's almost like they're too dense for the scanner to reproduce the rich
gradients from color to shadow, so the scans end up somewhat grainy/noisy, where the images on film are sharp,
luminous and vibrant.

While the digital images look cleaner onscreen, you can still get the impression how much richer and more
substantial an image this one is in comparison.
